What We Do
Binary Butterflies is a youth-led coding club that is determined to eliminate the gender disparity in computer science and other STEM-based fields. We make this change through free online coding classes for all kids to open their minds to the endless possibilities coding brings. Our goal is to inspire a love for coding so that the next generation of programmers is all equal in terms of gender identity.
Free Summer Coding Classes
Interesting in learning how to code? Well, this summer we are offering free online coding classes for all elementary and middle schoolers. Learn how to build your own video games, apps, and websites all in weekly 1-hour sessions. Learn new coding skills and work on fun projects all summer long! Spots are limited so you should sign up soon.
Looking to serve your community?
Binary Butterflies is a youth-led organization with opportunities for middle school and high school students to help their community. There are many different ways to volunteer with us for all sorts of skill sets. From teaching online classes, designing promotional material, to programming sample projects, we look for dedicated volunteers with diverse interests and backgrounds. It only takes minutes to register as a volunteer and join our team.
